Additional information on services: Lifeline is the primary implementing partner for Uganda Carbon Bureau’s Improved Cook Stoves for East Africa (ICSEA) project that qualifies for carbon credits under the UN’s CDM. Lifeline also conducts and/or assists with pilot studies, market assessments, and has partnered with the University of Notre Dame and the Blue Planet Network to conduct a comprehensive three-year Clean Cook Stoves for Health study. In addition, Lifeline provides training and assistance to local stove vendors and distribution networks on the benefits of FES cookstoves. Finally, Lifeline continually invests in research and development on all of its cookstove models (household to institutional) to improve quality and durability.
